The Mediation Process

What to Expect

1. Initial Consultation

A complimentary conversation to determine whether mediation is appropriate and aligned for both parties.

2. Retainer & Scheduling

A shared $4,000 retainer secures the process. Sessions are scheduled in a structured, intentional format.

3. Structured Dialogue

Each session is guided carefully to ensure balanced participation, clarity of issues, and forward movement.

4. Agreement Drafting

Once decisions are reached, written agreements are prepared, for review and, when appropriate, submission to court.

Who Mediation Is For

Mediation works best when:

• Both individuals are willing to engage honestly

• There is interest in avoiding unnecessary escalation

• Children’s well-being is a priority

• Parties are open to accountability and clarity

It can be effective even when emotions are strong — provided both individuals are willing to participate respectfully.
